Another One Done

Gary has finished another painting, a new one in his King's Landing series. Here we see him holding it:
Here is a close-up of the painting:
He is placing his earlier one of the lady by the window in the Brevard Watercolor Society's art show the last weekend of February.

Today is a bit dark and damp. This is really the first day of dreary weather in weeks. We have spent a lot of time on the beach these past few days.
Here is Cocoa Beach at low tide. One beautiful day after another. We have done a lot of beach walking.
What perfect weather and what a perfect setting to spend sunny, warm days.

February Begins

A cold snap has settled into Florida for a few days, but the beach still looks as lovely despite the chill. Somehow mid-60s is not very seriously cold!
Gary has two paintings that are nearing completion. First we have a potato harvest scene from days gone by:
Next we have a lady from King's Landing taking a break, from a photo taken during our visit there last year.
These paintings have kept Gary busy over the past couple of weeks.
Here is a parting shot of the beach today:
A new month has begun with new tales waiting to be told or painted!
